  1. In a country of LONG DISTANCE TRAVEL, like the US, a hybrid makes sense for saving on the majority of the time travel IS in stop-and-go with some longer trips mixed in. Until PURE EVs get a capacity to travel a GUARANTEED 400 miles to 500 miles, with RESERVE CAPACITY, in the WORST Winter and Summer weather, and with a GUARANTEED recharger for a 700 miles to 800 miles in two day range, EVs really are just TOYS for people WHO CAN OWN TWO CARS, AT LEAST! I'm not against "Small" nuclear plants IF THEY PAY THEIR WAY WITHOUT THE GOVERNMENT HAVING TO PICK UP THE 'CATASTROPHIC' INSURANCE COVERAGE! But that won't happen, cuz POLITICAL DARK CASH CONTRIBUTIONS BY INVESTED PARTIES.
