  3. I think there are several books I've read in probably 20 years of interest that highlighted Beatty's scorn for Thomas, and his isolation of Thomas' ships AFTER HE WHINED ABOUT HAVING THEM ASSIGNED TO HIM FOR SO LONG! Massie's Castles of Steel springs to mind as a possible example.
