  1. How precious that Boeing adopted Japanese policies EXCEPT WELL KNOWN QUALITY PROGRAMS. Boeing JETTISONED it's way to change to profit-manic, mostly because Upper Management were unfit to run a SAFETY oriented company. They adopted the McD/Douglas sleaze act instead of maintaining the Boeing Way.

  2. This is a small version of the ADULT WORLD OF WORK that is also depicted in a multi-episode of the building of an inconspicuous 'high rise' in NYC that was out 20 years or so ago. Think it was simply called 'Skyscraper', and covered the steel, property acquisition, union issues, configuration management and modifications, etc. that REAL projects involve. It is the HIDDEN world of the economy where THE OLD B/S US PHILOSOPHY OF WORKING HARDER AND NOT SMARTER IS UTTERLY DESTROYED, but so few people ever see the SMARTER that is really needed. These short and long form documentaries should be MANDATORY viewing in SOME kind of class in US high school to provide some kind of attempted education of the Great Unwashed of US students of how being an ADULT is not just waving your arms and expecting a miracle to occur, as, quite frankly, I find is FAR too present in The Disney Version of Realty which is spoon fed to US children. A version where you have parents who work normal, but 'chic', jobs and yet can afford HUGE 5%er to 1%er houses in PERFECT neighborhoods and schools.
