  2. Yeah, they feed candidates a lot of Bull to get them to volunteer for those sewer pipes. BTW, what's the actual number of combat ready subs the USN can deploy, because I've heard reports from industry reports and newsletters that 50% welded to the pier because of spare parts and other maintenance problems that affect not only readiness but also Sub Safe, so much that Congress and Senators have questioned why the US needs to build new subs when it can't keep the ones it has manned or maintained to a reasonable percentage.
