  1. So, how would philosophers know it is NOT uncovered unless they know ahead of time what it is? They have no punishment for being wrong, so what is the corrective process to their mere conjecture backed up by hand waving and mere personal assertion, all confused by the imprecision of 'language'? Like Religion relies on the God of the Gaps, philosophers merely rely on the FUD of the Gaps, without bringing a whole lot to the table in solutions. And, that's after reading and digesting a LOT of Philosophy of Science books and audio courses, not to mention philosophy room mates, one of which is now a perfesser of philosophy.

  2. You don't get interviews by 'agreeing with him', just like you don't get grants, much less tenure, by making a habit of replicating important experiments to make sure there isn't a nuance that was missed.

  3. Interesting that I trust Hossenfelder to be more professional than Penrose, because her track record shows she is not tied to her 'prestige and book sales', as obviously is true with Penrose. Her moves back and forth on Dark Matter and MOND in her YouTube videos, while explaining her changes with facts and emergent experiment results, are the perfect example of that.
