Trump and MAGAts semi-gaslighted the Dems with their various bigotry and stupidity outbreaks to hide the fact that it was the state of the economy that would drive the votes of the Swing/Independent Voters. Like the Party of 'Aspirations' the Dems are, they fell for it hook, line, and sinker. The Dems NEVER EVEN TOUCHED THE ECONOMY FROM A PERSONAL VIEW OF THE VOTERS. That might have even helped bring some of the MISOGYNISTS back into the fold among the immigrants who, themselves, wanted to slam the door shut not that "I'm All Right, Jack!" Wrote this before you even raised the subject!! Also, mentioned the way the Tories hammered Corbyn when swing voters obviously voted their wallets and retirement funds when polls actually looked closer.
