The US tried Littoral Combat Ships which might be a class to deal with this kind of small vessel, but the utter failure of that class due to material failures and inability to make the 'modular mission packages' actually WORK on them has led to them being discarded and replaced by real blue water units. The US is already far beyond your thoughts, and I suggest you get a copy of the FIRST edition (not the current second edition) of Hughes' Fleet Tactics to see there has been work on small warships and drone clouds SEVERAL DECADES ago.

  12. He's firing people for going against his opinion. They may be right or they may be wrong, but they are being gotten rid of because they are disruptive. The real test is if the company DOES go bankrupt, because unless there is proof, there is no rule that says 'all intelligent people are right' or 'only intelligent workers tell the truth' or 'lesser workers can be right' or etc. Eventually just about every company HAS gone bankrupt, unless you count religions. Even the Hapsburgs went down.
