I'm sure they will trade a Still Mediocre Acceleration for a 50% load decrease and the abysmal 'refueling' delays, not to mention worrying about what happens when they get stalled/stopped in a blizzard/other foul weather and run out of charge in the delay. And, imagine the road recovery costs along with repair availability; will a standard wrecker for semi's be able to tow a Tesla semi, because of the battery weight shifting the GVW from the trailer-plus-load to the tractor?! Will the tow have to wait on removing the battery pack?! Think of the stability of the tow now that that much mass has been shifted, imagine pulling it out of 'the ditch', too? Who would ship stuff this way unless there was a YUUUUGE discount, which works EXACTLY OPPOSITE to what the trucker needs to break even?
