The intellectual DRIVEL Mor(m)onism is based on was HUGELY POPULAR at the time of Joe Smiff's change to scamming people with religion, after he'd been nearly JAILED for his "Gold of the Lost Tribes and Indians" in Pennsylvania, but got out because they told him, "You can go to jail, or you can go back where you came from!" ..., which were the Burned Over Districts of NY ..., which, by themselves were Burned Over because of the HUGE number of Christian Based SCAMS at the time!!

No need to feel like you were a fool for believing the BOM. Some of us fell for the chuckle-head lies of both the Jewish AND the True Christian Faiths (that's Faiths, plural, because there are so many Jewish faiths AND True Christian faiths, too)! I also paid $1 for a copy of the BOM, but it went to a Public Library Fund Raiser, so I don't feel TOOOO scammed. I also, also like the number of times Smiff had to repeat "Now, this ain't no sh*t, REALLY ...." to try and assure readers it all WEALLY, WEALLY TWUE!

As a cultural Lutheran, I went to THE Catholic University of America, I had to take 4 Religion courses to graduate. Took a lot of 'literature of the World's religions' courses mixed with Eastern religion course ..., all taught by ordained Catholic priests ..., taught FAR more professionally than the 'Designed by Catholics FOR Catholics', mandatory courses my Catholic friends had to take. At the end of all that, along with further personal reading, I was UTTERLY APPALLED by the intellectual sleaze and literary schlock that was The Book of Mor(m)on I bought for $1 at a public library fund raiser (not knowing it was free, otherwise). Oh, and I was similarly appalled by the UTTER VENALITY of anyone who could be in on The Professional Mor(m)on Religion GRIFT. Mor(m)onism is just Scientology with a more and better lawyers and accountants in the cult's congregation.
