Interesting things: How about the COVID-type epidemics raging throughout the Universe where there is connectivity all over the place? Quite frankly, I'm bored by Middle Ages costume dramas without disease just as much as I don't care about Jane Austen, LOTR, Star Wars, etc without smells, disease, just plain cancer and the like. I'm tired of colouring book history, like Cowboys and Indians in Outer Space (Star Wars), in Middle Earth (LOTR), and in even in the US Old West (She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, etc). (Oh, and IX-Nay on the 8% of Rain-Bay stuff)

  2. Sorry, but I still refuse to give up Kryten 2X4B-523P. He is a perfect foil in the entire series! BWT, imagine having a 'short' or 'utter failure' in a robot battery or a Star Wars "Never Hits Anything" Storm Trooper gun? Imagine all those BOMBS walking about inside a star ship and somebody trips and starts off an explosive disassembly! Of course, The Answer is the risk assessment process will take care of the huge mass AND the huge energy store. I lived through such an assessment for using lift trucks in storage areas that are sensitive to breached packaging from both collisions AND fires, and I'm SURE (wink-wink) Murican Bidnessmen will be as conscientious as my assessment team had to be.
