  1. WOW, somebody at the WaPost has a spine?! Hope they find a job commensurate to their ethical and moral strength. I've cancelled my subscription already because of the Bezos' Sanewash pressure. It's probably good they left because of the other subscriptions being cancelled in just about every comments section I've seen!

  4. That's nice. Some people aren't satisfied with being uneducated and want to satisfy their curiosity, not just fill their bellies and live the Archie Bunker Dream. There is no option I've ever seen to the difference in a PERSON a degree makes, and you don't have even the baseline to make that comparison.

  6. To the poor folk in the sob story, Yeah, and NEXT year you just could use your degree. You paid for the ability to take advantage of OPPORTUNITY with a degree. If all you wanted to do was make money, maybe the degree isn't the problem, but maybe the general issue is your expectations and willingness to put in the hard work and sacrifices to achieve those expectations are?

  10. Yeah, and you are the counter example that proves their point better than they ever could have. I came from blue collar and will probably die from cancer from all the benzene and the like I inhaled pumping gas to get my college degree. My sibiling, on the other hand, just kicked about and was a 'basement dweller' decades before it was a 'thing'. The differences are I've been able to take advantage of opportunities to get ahead while he is still drifting. That is the difference IF you take a degree seriously AND set & work towards goals.  @earnesttbass8107

That's WHY when people get away with horrible CRIMES the Lamestream Talking Heads are complicit in NORMALIZING CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR. But, to the editors and the 'journalists', it's SOOOOOO much easier to just take the low road ..., and protect your BMW payments and mortgages ...
