The better question is why have the Democrats not found a way to capture The Center where all those election-deciding Swing Voters live, in the mindscape? Why did the Dems alienate the socially-progressive/fiscally-conservative part of the electorate, because I have seen it over and over again in my lifetime and my physical locations. You specifically covered that destructive process when you talked about the word-wank the Dems used for Romney's book of qualified candidates, as EVERY EMPLOYER HAS and as EVERY ONE WHO USES GRINDER HAS AND USES. It's that DESTRUCTIVE HYPOCRISY IN THE NAME OF POLITICS that really alienates people.
