  2. I don't know about that . There's a reason why the USSR crumbled from within . The sheer size of the territory and imho the Central government. I guess this new political agreement has a lot more chances to develop in relative harmony of interests. First the people are well represented by their own peers and second the fear for deportation is gone . This really creates the conditions of mobility within this space for goods , ideas , people and nature . I really think that Russian Federation is a lot better than USSR. On the other hand the USSR faced the most destructive power to his existence and against all odds they defetead the mechanized army of Germany/USA . No need to beat around the bush anymore , Germany was rearmed by a great deal by the USA . They created the trouble in the first place all those millionaires . Germans provided their skills and their obediance.
