  2.  @deshaunmartin7876  I have talked with druggies and they will tell you in a heartbeat that they gain tremendous strength when they are on Coke or crack. Also that they feel like they are Kings, and everyone is subservient to them. That would explain the need for tasers.

  3. ​ @hubster4477 They are there to help stop crime. A police presence will usually stop, or at least postpone a crime. Makes the robbery a little less simple with a police person a few feet away.

  4. ​ @hubster4477 More people equals more opportunity for criminals to victimize. I don't know this as a fact, but I would think that the percentage of crimes eg: 10% per 50000, remains at 10% per a higher number of people. The police can only do so much with what they have. And when they do their duty there is a high percentage of people who place the blame on them, not the criminal. If every police officer quit ... Just walked away, NOBODY would be safe. Not even those who bad mouth them all of the time. You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all the people all of the time.
