Most people just pay the because it costs a lot in lost wages, travel, and the fact that if you did all that, and you lived in Pittsburgh, you might need to stay in a motel if the docket was full. Several states do that, I am told, but I don't know. Best bet, go around states that do that.

  9. Seriously, I lived in a all town in Georgia about 100 years ago. Most of the people in most if the towns are friendly and show Southern hospitality. The unfriendly ones are spies left over from the War of Northern Aggression. They're STILL trying to get all our Southern cooking recipes! And we ain't givin' 'em up!

  15. ​ @brendalestertaylor2680 The place to argue law, or who is right or wrong is in Court. Not on the Side of the road. Be polite. Be courteous. Accept the ticket. Ask if you're free to go. If yes, go. Get a lawyer, and drag the officer into court. I have been stopped a few times in my life, and usually, I had no gripe coming. Police officers generaly are polite unless given a ration of excrement. My parents reared children to be respectful and polite even if the other party was other wise. Especially law enforcement. It has been beneficial to me. I don't belong to the 'hate cops' club. You doubt their job is tough? Get a job in Enforcement. Work it for a year or three. You might change your mind.
