@trapbois4573 But the thing is, that people will still do the drugs and the government will still need to provide medical assistance regardless of the drugs legality. But if its legal you can tax, regulate and educate. You use the taxes to offset the medical cost of users and to educate the population about the harms of the drugs and you regulate them to ensure that they dont have additives which can cause unnecessary harm to the user. Thereby lowering the incurred medical costs of using cocaine

@Daniel Kintigh You might not agree with Sigmund Freud's, or Barrack Obamas ideas/policies (I certainly don't) but to call them degenerates just because they did cocaine is ridiculous.

@trapbois4573 So you are advocating for the banning of alcohol? Have you heard of a little thing called the prohibition? And of course people will still make poor decisions I never claimed that they wouldn't. Its about mitigating risk. Banning substances only serves to increase the income of criminals (which in turn increases violent crime) and make the substances themselves more dangerous be it because of the increased potency of illicit substances or the addition of adulterants.
