Toby Thompson I think the point Bevillian was trying to make is that yes it did happen before him but he has continued to allow it.

yes yes yes, more punishment less rehabilitation classical Americans. Because God forbid a criminal is able to be rehabilitated and become a functioning member of society.

One of the main reasons the second ammendement was created was in order to protect the other amendments, and at that it has failed big time, due proccess? try saying that to anyone that works at the NSA or Gitmo.

Toby Thompson While agree with your premise and conclusion, next time try to refrain from ad hominen attacks.

You wouldn't lose any sleep until the inevitability of a innocent person being sentenced to death
2
@thewickedraven33 How do you think illegal suppliers obtain guns?
2
@thewickedraven33 You make it sound like gun smithing is easily accessible to most people, when in reality it isn't.
2
didn't realise you can get addicted to guns....
1
@NessieTheCatt I wish more people would be as truthful as you, I know as much as the next person that shooting guns is fun, as opposed to people making the silly argument that "It's for keeping me safe" when you are 27x as likely to commit suicide with your gun than use it in self defence.
1
isn't there more than 1 mass shooting everyday here?
1
@coke5204 what is?
1
@coke5204 Is what, my reference?
1
@coke5204 I have no Idea what you are trying to say please type more coherently.
1
@TKUA11 Who says he didn't?
1
Toby Thompson I mean at the end of the day it's still seperating a child from their family no matter which way you slice it.
1
@circleofsorrow4583 Why do you say that?
1
@thewickedraven33 Sure if you want order a gun online from overseas, but you'll be paying a lot more money and be putting yourself at a much larger risk of getting caught, almost guaranteed if you want it to be flown as the TSA requires all packages to be X-Rayed.
1
@thewickedraven33 Restricting peoples ability to purchase guns means that they will either not buy the gun or buy the gun illegally. For most of the US it would be the former option, and even if It was the latter option it would mean that gun shops and the such would be getting less business and therefore not order as many guns and as as we already discussed before the large majority of guns obtained illegally are through stealing from those places.
1
@thewickedraven33 Basically buying a gun legally decreases supply and increases demand for the store where as stealing a gun decreases supply and is neutral on demand. But if you cause someone who would have bought the gun legally to buy it illegally that has driven demand away from the store while also decreasing supply.
1
@thewickedraven33 I'm not saying there won't but the overseas supply chain will have the end result of making guns a lot more expensive and difficult to obtain.
1
@thewickedraven33 And what point are you trying to make in regards to the world seeing America as the wild west? As if that's a good thing.
1
@thewickedraven33 Also I forgot to say in rebuttal to your argument about 3D printed guns currently they are single shot pistols, that need to be reloaded each time that can at best shoot 2-3 rounds without blowing up in your hand.
1
@thewickedraven33 You can only put so much pressure on plastic before it blows apart.
1
@thewickedraven33 Read this article about 3d printed guns https://theconversation.com/3d-printed-guns-may-be-more-dangerous-to-their-users-than-targets-103724
1
@thewickedraven33 Not to mention the fact that a quality 3D printer costs about 2-5k which is already alot more than getting a pistol illegally
