As for the high suicide rate it's been pretty well established by many studies that the high suicide rates have alot to do with people who are transgender being sexually abused, stigmatised, discriminated against.   7. @bridogg154 Also how can there be a double blind study with gender reassignment therapy? The participant would obviously know whether or not they have had surgery.   9. @bridogg154 what is your source for "the best treatment for trans people is to make them act like their bioligical gender"? Are you a psychologist, do you have any sources supporting that claim? If you read the links I posted you will see that transitioning is the best option for transgender people.

  10. @bridogg154 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5944396/ This is the most up to date paper in regards to treatment of Gender Dysphoria, In it they reference how psychotherapy aimed at changing someones gender is not considered fruitful. I highly recommend you read it.
