everybody has to remember now that masks for regular people on the streets only work if everybody wears one. it keeps the infected from infecting others while it does not keep the virus out when breathing in. so if everybody wears one, the infected will too. and since you can infect others two days before your first symptoms show, you should always consider yourself potentially infected.

i know someone who hired a lawyer to do just that and he is making 5000-8000 euros each month from people who did steal his images.

the thing is, they didnt put a picture of their dress and she is assuming it is a copy of hers, they put a picture of her dress. and claim to sell that dress. the fact they try to copy her is not even in question, they tell you they are copying and selling it. whether they do it well or not is another thing.

i find this super interesting!

@christophmuller3511 pretty badass!

@vhssika if you cant afford to buy good quality clothing you have to make it yourself or buy second hand. like in the days before "made in china". also: cheap clothing like h&m can be worn for a much longer time than people actually do. you just have to take care of your things, treat them well and not wash them every day.

do you even realize she already made a dress that looks how it should look like and how much it costs?

try a different pattern, there are lots of korean mask making videos out there, search for 마스크 만들기.

to me as a contemporary designer the creativity AI is showing in the placement and mixing of details is highly inspiring!

does anyone have an idea how much the rent is for an apartment of this size in the middle of manhattan? i kinda like this living situation, but have no idea if i can afford it.

surprisingly same. youtube suggested this video to me, i thought, yeah well, i might have a look.. 32 minutes in, the beginning feels interesting, i think i'm gonna watch this.. xD

Vincent Desalvo that is awesome!

@Petrichorus- we are on a sewing channel here, so i do not expect people buying masks. and where would you even buy them.... smh.

Price Brendon if you need more inspiration, i am watching korean mask making videos to sew some, search for 마스크 만들기.

one reason is there weren't any cheap stores back then. every coat probably had a certain price. now cheap is an option. and it allows you to change your style more often to keep up with the latest trends. thats the main problem. people would need to care more for their coat than for the newest trends. and i guess there are way more people out there who are interested in trends than people who are interested in the quality of their clothing.

@AmyMichelleWiley yeah i wouldnt like to use that fabric for anything! its gonna be hard not to throw it away.
2
i dont understand why you would choose this pattern/type of mask when there are lots of patterns out there for masks that are more fitting to the face and therefore much more protective. have you watched some korean vidoes on mask making? search for 마스크 만들기.

omg this is amazing, i am so excited! her outfit is amazing! she is amazing! i am not black, but i am a huge fan of african fabrics and their history and meaning. i love her story about the moms sewing contrasting fabrics to those dresses. i wish i could see those! i am so gonna watch her videos and subscribe to her channel! thank you!

@ashleymailer6376 interesting. until a few years ago i have been buying a lot of h&m (since the 90s) and now thinking about it, it's the older items that are still in my closet while i threw out the more recent ones.

thats creepy af. breathing in pieces of plastic. thanks to primark and all those cheap stores the air here in berlin must be full of plastic. scary. only during the last years i have tried to only buy natural fibres. i wish i had realized that earlier (i was never a primark person, but too much h&m).

Someone Finds ah, i see.

i was similarly excited after i got a korean book on making traditional clothing from a korean library and figured out that i was actually able to make my own pattern just from looking at the pattern drawings and using some google translate! it was super exciting and i made a hanbok jacket out of corduroy (instead of silk) and lined it with a cotton fabric i had painted myself. i think i need a new project :D

thats exactly what is was thinking when watching the video.

@StrangeAlleyCat probably! :D but maybe one day..

in any case, you should totally sue them. if not for the dress, you will at least get a good amount of money because of them using your picture. and the dress is pretty obvious too, i mean, you have video documentation of yourself designing it. just think of the amount of fabric you could buy with their money...
