i know someone who hired a lawyer to do just that and he is making 5000-8000 euros each month from people who did steal his images.

the thing is, they didnt put a picture of their dress and she is assuming it is a copy of hers, they put a picture of her dress. and claim to sell that dress. the fact they try to copy her is not even in question, they tell you they are copying and selling it. whether they do it well or not is another thing.

@vhssika if you cant afford to buy good quality clothing you have to make it yourself or buy second hand. like in the days before "made in china". also: cheap clothing like h&m can be worn for a much longer time than people actually do. you just have to take care of your things, treat them well and not wash them every day.

do you even realize she already made a dress that looks how it should look like and how much it costs?

one reason is there weren't any cheap stores back then. every coat probably had a certain price. now cheap is an option. and it allows you to change your style more often to keep up with the latest trends. thats the main problem. people would need to care more for their coat than for the newest trends. and i guess there are way more people out there who are interested in trends than people who are interested in the quality of their clothing.

@ashleymailer6376 interesting. until a few years ago i have been buying a lot of h&m (since the 90s) and now thinking about it, it's the older items that are still in my closet while i threw out the more recent ones.

thats creepy af. breathing in pieces of plastic. thanks to primark and all those cheap stores the air here in berlin must be full of plastic. scary. only during the last years i have tried to only buy natural fibres. i wish i had realized that earlier (i was never a primark person, but too much h&m).

in any case, you should totally sue them. if not for the dress, you will at least get a good amount of money because of them using your picture. and the dress is pretty obvious too, i mean, you have video documentation of yourself designing it. just think of the amount of fabric you could buy with their money...
