  2. half the people i know drink tap water, but nobody would consider it superior. they just admit being too lazy to buy water and carry it home. but if they have the choice they drink bottled water. i do not drink tap water and never would. just think of those old dirty pipes it is going through. disgusting. also it tastes horrible. i am in berlin.

  4.  @sluggo206  the carbon dioxide is the sparkles in the water. same in any sparkling beverage you can buy. it might be released into the atmosphere in case you burp after drinking it. here the canisters are being returned to the stores and refilled before being sold again.

  5. most people in germany drink mineral water exclusively all their lives. people should stop spreading bs. there is nothing wrong with it. it is not like doing anything excessively. it is normal.
