  4. ugh, i hate that you have to go through this! always ask questions and get the best treatment you can get. it will be a pain in the ass, but you will get through it. i am absolutely sure.

  6. stupidity is what makes me hate any kind of paperwork, answering any kind of mail or emails i get. every time it ends with me feeling like i am doing other people's work, having to research and figure things out on my own and then explain to them what they actually should have already done. and then they get it wrong and i have to explain it again. and its not only stupidity, people also have shockingly low standards in everything they do. they don't even care!

  7. i loved it when you said that if you say "this is incomprehensible." then that is a fact! i have been there so many times. it starts with the trains at my station taking a detour due to construction and the sign they put up on the platform being completely incomprehensible. and i am usually good at puzzles! and someone put work into that! but why? how? ???

  8. i am optimistic. for myself. not for bureaucracy. there seem to be more and more incompetent people and it seems to have no consequences that will lead to change. probably because it only has consequences for the people dealing with what they do. but not for their supervisors or their bosses. things seem to work, money is coming in, everything is fine. we don't need high standards. it is everywhere. no one cares. no one wants to think. no one needs to think. (btw i am in germany and it seems to be the same as in the uk.)

  9.  @ProfessorTimWilson  that is cute! :D well there are things that actually do work fine. but obviously the ones that don't are the ones that come to mind first. :) but there generally is just no interest in optimizing things and changing things for the better.
