  17.  @QwadLuzr  look up Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath. He accidentally cut his finger tips off as a teenager. He made new finger tips from melted margarine tub pieces. Brave guy. Also many mountain climbers lost fingers from frost bite. There will be ingenious ways round loosing your fingers. My Japanese friend used to wear a leather golfing glove to hide the fact he lost 3 fingers when cutting down a tree with a chain saw. Speedy recovery.
