  1. SCOTTISH POWER put my direct debit up from £73 per month to £218. I've told them to REMOVE MY METERS. I'll survive with candles, solar lights, lanterns, camping stove, and hot water bottles. I'll heat and light my home, and cook my food for less than £50 per month. I'll pay £168 extra off my mortgage each month now. Screw the system.

  2.  @joschmoyo4532  technically, if you make candles from Crisco (Trex or Crisp n Dry in the UK), you could use the fat to cook food in.
