  1. This must have been an affluent home to have so many Dutch ovens. I liked how the lady took coals from the fire, placed them on the stone floor, and cooked a batch of bread rolls on the floor using hot coals top and bottom. The other Dutch oven, in the fire, with the turnips, didn't have a flat top. It would be interesting to add to this video how to clean the Dutch oven after cooking, to prevent rusting.
