  1.  @jragon9215  can't live off candy indefinitely. Canning items have disappeared from shelves throughout Europe and North America. Canned goods will last years. I know where I'd rather spend my money. And I'm a hopeless romantic.

  3. Yes. My local supermarket is 40% stocked. Most of the stock on shelves is junk food and novelty goods for Easter and Valentine's Day. I tried to buy a mop and bucket before Christmas, there were none for 3 weeks. Soda water disappeared for 3 months, and Walkers crisps are more rare than rocking horse sh¡t.
