I worked 60 hours per week for 4 years whilst I studied for 2 degrees full time. I left with no debt and went straight to Japan to work for the Japanese in my field of study. I had no handouts and no support from my family.

@swallman I actually loved my job, my bosses, and my coworkers. It was just working in a warehouse picking sporting items and putting them I'm a stillage, but the coworkers were like family, and I was fit as a fiddle. We got decent pay, holiday pay, sickness pay, and tea-breaks. I was really happy there.

@mjklein I left because my sister had a baby, and I wanted to see my nice grow up.
