  1. Always great to have a comment, pre-investigation, from a YouTube "pilot". No professional pilot would ever make a statement like that until the report is out, nor second-guess another pilot before an investigation is complete. Know-it-all "pilots" are the most dangerous.

  6. Contact with birds not allowing gear to extend? Unlikely. Wayyyyy too fast for a gear-up landing and no foam on runway. Poor pilot decision-making likely a huge factor.
