  8.  toney gange  What I'm trying to say is having slavery legalised in your constitution as long as your incarcerated is literally the reason why there are so many people in prisons. Prisons sell the prisoners manual labour and make a massive profit while paying the prisoners a fraction of minimum wage. Furthermore if they were able to earn actually half decent money while they were in prison then maybe they wouldnt resort back to a life of crime as soon as they get out. I dont think they should be given an easy time, I just think there shouldnt be an incentive to put people in prison. Some prisoners might do it for free, give them the choice if they want to. The fact that some countries dont pay prisoners anything isnt a reason to incentivise incarceration. community service is given as an alternative to prison. If you refuse community service you get sent to prison, you shouldnt get sent to prison+community service.

  10. There is no issue because thats not what hes talking about. Also no one has ever come to a scientific conclusion of "Humans are causing catastrophic global warming." Thats the title of a buzzfeed article, not the conclusive statement of a scientific report.
