No the problem with the word gaslighting is that people tend to use it when it isnt applicable at all. Just like misogyny or narcissist. It can still be used correctly, it just often isnt.

@MouseNZ It happens with other words all the time sure, but most of those other words arent accusatory. Me saying "I entrepreneur with your motive" is pretty non-consequential. Me saying "she gaslighted me constantly, shes a total narcissist" is levying an accusation against someone such that other people hear it.
