  1.  @AJ-fp6nk  Thats not what he said, he said that performing jokes to an audience of people you dont know is a lot harder than telling jokes to a room full of mates who know you or telling funny stories in a 1 on 1 conversation. It doesnt mean the comic is "funnier" it just means they can perform written stand up better. Case in point this chick is unfunny as fuck in conversation but she can still perform written stand up to a high enough standard to not get booed off stage constantly. Its not about being funny its about being able to perform written material which is something anyone has to work at

Being able to tell written jokes doesnt make you inherently funny, nor does not being able to tell written jokes make you inherently unfunny. Performing written comedy is literally acting, not being funny

  6. a comic of all people shouldnt try to make such an outlandish statement. Id think comics would understand better than anyone that funny is subjective and saying "im funnier than ___" doesnt really make sense
