@JMac85X But how much of it needs to be made in america for it to say "made in america". If the cpu of my phone is made in china but everything else is made in america is that still made in america? There has to be a line somewhere and I imagine most companies try to find it

Its a company, they want a certain profit margin and if they moved the labour to america theyd just raise the price of the phone to maintain that margin. Admittedly they might not raise it to fully maintain the margin but theyd come as close as their economists think is viable

@zedek_ My point is nike isnt going to give a shit about advertising on some relatively small podcast when they can run ads on literally anything. This sort of thing is for mid-level brands to advertise on.

@zedek_ individual tv shows dont get ads, entire tv channels get ads. Youre also forgetting the fact that youtubers still arent as respected as mainstream media by the majority of the business world and so need to be more prominent to pull brand deals. Not to mention typically needing to be non-controversial to secure major brand deals

@missfire9480 They sponsor high school athletes because they play sports, display their sponsor at sports matches and have a high chance of going on to play in the top professional league. Podcasts have none of those things
