@shawqiha There actually is evidence that wearing a mask prevents virus spread. Or do you think surgeons wear masks because they look stylish? Wearing a mask prevents spitting, coughing, sneezing, touching your face etc. All of those are ways in which the virus spreads. The fact you find virus particles in front of them is irrelevant and a perfect example of people using statistics to support their viewpoint. Common sense would also tell you that not being right next to or touching other people would also reduce the likelihood of it spreading If a mask only has 1ppm virus particles infront of the wearer and no mask has 50ppm, I would far prefer that everyone wears masks and youre a fucking idiot if you dont think the same.

The study you linked literally said in the study it doesnt difinitively apply to sars-cov-2 and that the results of the study cannot be extended to the virus. They make so many assumptions and dont even include n95 masks

"richest" is a funny one to brag about given the bottom 90% of families hold less than a quarter of the whole countries wealth. I also never said america was a third world country, again proof that americas education system is pretty much non-existant.

It also doesnt take into account the cost of living, which is why having wealth doesnt necessarily mean good things. Redistribution of wealth should be in the form of tax going towards services that benefit the entire community. A higher standard of living until you have a serious health condition and have to find out how to pay for it. Not to mention your average household debt is twice that of your median household income

Its not about solving wealth inequallity its about using some of the excessive wealth that some people have to benefit everyone that made them able to have that wealth in the first place. @emperorpigbenis8766 The problem with that is theres historical effects on many neighbourhoods that basically creates perpetual generational poverty. Its kind of unfair to just let everyone fend for themselves when until 60 years ago a large demographic couldnt even use the same bathrooms as everyone else. The idea of social darwinism is only really a good idea if everyone starts off on the same footing, which they dont. Also incase you havent noticed stupid people still have kids regardless of their wealth. Most people that are stupid just have kids, they dont think of their finances. At least if they had access to some services at a subsidized price they would be able to better care for the kid and hopefully the kid would have a greater chance of doing something useful in its life

Yeah because the common cold isnt that deadly and has hundreds of known strains, people dont care about doing things that are super hard with relaitively little pay off while there are more important things they can work on.
