thats not really true. Our body craves high fat and high sugar foods because before society and processed foods were a thing it was extremely hard to come by those sorts of foods making them an extremely valuable yet relatively small part of our diet. Nowadays we still have that programming but those foods are super easy to obtain making the craving detrimental to us

@philosophyofpolitics4504 fructose is natural though, also just because somethings natural doesnt mean its not raising dopamine. Cannabis is natural and it fucks with your dopamine hard

@philosophyofpolitics4504 I have trouble believing that salt doesnt raise dopamine, given its literally necessary for survival and eating just about anything raises dopamine somewhat

@Kerwell hunger is entirely in the brain. If you ignore it for 10 minutes it goes away entirely and doesnt come back stronger. Hunger doesnt cause weight gain
