  1. There were Golfs in the US... I had a few, used them as commuter cars back in the 90's. Gas ones went thru O2 sensors like potato chips. But they got good gas mileage and the rest is the rest. Dented a door on a concrete support in a parking garage... put bagged ice in the door, left it for 15min, poured boiling water on the outside and the dent popped right out... my (ex) wife was astounded. LOL Pure. Junk.
