BlackDolphin90 you kidding? That IS their camo, the enemy will never believe it's a real military vehicle and look everywhere but at it lol
13
Matsimus Gaming well maybe we should have one of the official Mk.1 Type 1 fish n' chip vans follow each strike-group around for added combat potential haha
4
Risto Kantonen absolutely which is what the union jack and 'British By Birth' stuff's supposed to be about, it's meant to be being made here under licence in British factories (BAE ex-Vickers stuff most likely)
4
wess daniels oh and by the way Porsche, BMW and Mercedes are good, Aston Martin, McLaren, Noble, Jaguar, Rolls-Royce and Lotus are better :-p
2
Gauntlet1212 which is why the attrition rate was so high in them lol, pride's great outside a palace or on a parade ground, I come from a proud British military family but if I was going into battle and the choice was German armour between me and the enemy or walking due to there not really BEING much of a (truly) British arms industry anymore which d'you think I'd pick
2
Gauntlet1212 why do you think we fought in bright red coats for three hundred years lol
2
Timothy Sielbeck but that's the point, it'll either intimidate you or make you be completely dismissive of it being a real threat until it's too late. Just like the British military in general :-p
2
cnlbenmc the Americans didn't invent the terms 'Strike' or 'Brigade' you know :-)
2
cnlbenmc as is the fact the Americans like naming stuff in a cool way for the sake of it BEING a cool name then finding some way to make it work in their otherwise largely acronym-based military vocabulary and 'Stryker Brigades' sounds a lot better than 'M1126 Brigades'
2
Hot Communist A-10 Warthog so basically a more futuristic (and non-Russian) T14 then
1
wessd and what's so bad about doing it as a Brit may I ask (just to continue the joke haha)?
1
Brecconable nah they won't let you as it's non-regulation sadly :) and all you really need's the standard issue BV or Boiling Vessel for yer brew
1
Rogal Dorn you kidding?! ISIS will run for the hills when they see it haha
1
Rogal Dorn it will most likely be LICENCE-built here and the design is part-British
1
The Spitfire Geek I think he was making a joke-comment taking the piss of serious ones like this mate
1
Rafael Lastra com what so you weren't joking?
1
TrashGaming bit too... Warsaw-ish methinks haha
1
Agent New York no it isn't, certain parts were improved and modified by them WHEN they were a British-owned company, the original sadly flawed design was all-British and the manufacture and completion of the rifles is in British factories
1
Agent New York well unless you're talking about the newer stuff they're talking about replacing it with but that's all American or Austrian not German, they turned the 416 down
1
Never said we weren't still the stuffy old gentleman stereotype to some extent lol
1
Risto Mladich because it blends into British streets a lot better than camo ever will haha, you park that next to Buckingham Palace and you won't even see it at first lol
1
U wot m8? But not very survivable without a SHITLOAD of extra armour that weighs it down, which kinda negates a big part of the point of them over Bradley's and the like
1
cnlbenmc well those small organisations ARE special forces and secret agents not frontline soldiers, if it comes to numbers we've plenty of ordinary troops too you know, plus more in reserve and even cadet forces who could be used in a pinch, and plenty of trucks, cars, tanks and AFV's for the lot, and the second most advanced navy and air force in the world; all we DON'T have so far is these wheeled IFV's and that's why they're doing it, it's filling a gap not replacing anything
1
Matsimus Gaming and wherever possible don't be a "plank" to quote a particularly fun video :)
1
jugganaut33 which is nonetheless still a British-based corporation...
1
Kaas Lol well it could be argued it's a joint-development thing like the Eurofighter so it's not really ANY one particular country's product
