  1. Actually it kinda does given anti-air and anti-missile defences on warships weren't nearly as potent in 1982 as they are now? Back then we didn't have Sea-Ceptor or Sea-Viper missiles or Phalanx C-WIS turrets. Back then we still won that war anyway though, and yeah we lost a few ships but we sent over a hundred, we could afford to; and yeah to surface targets Argentina's air-force was by far the biggest threat, but every time they actually came up against some of OUR aircraft, Sea-Harriers, they got their arses kicked, and the F35's a lot more potent than any Sea-Harrier ever was
