  5. jordi castro and without Britain to launch the invasion FROM it would never have happened AT ALL. Not to mention things like the Battle Of Britain, Battle Of The Atlantic, Battle Of North Africa, breaking the Enigma and Lorenz codes, dropping supplies to resistance forces, sending in commando raids to disrupt and sabotage, sending wave after wave of bombers to attack German cities, sending supply convoys to Russia, and of course storming in on D-day, both in the air and on the beaches, right alongside our allies (despite what 'Saving Private Ryan' seemed to be trying to say); we kinda did rather a lot more than fucking hide and our allies would've been unable to win without us

Something Communist Kermit with his obvious Spanish bias there avoided talking about as much as possible, was the fact that very soon we'll have a fully operational aircraft carrier, a REAL 70,000 ton one, with a second well on the way, each of which when ready will be escorted by a full carrier-group of the best air-defence destroyers, best ASW frigates and best nuclear attack submarines in the world, and which each will be carrying a full squadron of the best and most advanced fighter jet on Earth aboard, to cover our strike-forces and basically rule the air. There is NOTHING the Spanish have that can overcome the combined might of our armed forces with those ships and those jets in play

Víctor Lledó they helped lay the groundwork it's true, they came up with the basic ideas, a foundation to build on; nice bit of revenge on the Germans for them haha; but the bulk of the real work at Bletchley Park WAS done by Alan Turing, Tommy Flowers and the other Brits who incidentally basically invented the electronic programmable computer in the process, so, you're welcome

  42.  @asdfomfglol  don't we know it, far from impossible though; the key is to gain air superiority first, sea superiority next, knock out enemy radar, anti-air, heavy armour and artillery next then, and ONLY then would we send in ground troops, and depending on what we have available by the time this all hypothetically happened would lead to how well or otherwise those attempts went

Do you actually have any OTHER examples of Spanish people actually fighting and defeating ANYONE except either each other or their not-at-all colonies who didn't want to be "part of Spain" anymore, more recent examples than 300 years ago I mean and closer to Europe than the Carribean? As for that battle yes bravo, points to you, yes, some insignificant speck of rock in the ocean thousands of miles away remained yours a few decades longer. Britain still seems to be here though despite such a 'catastrophic defeat' haha, free, proud and decidedly non-Catholic, still with loyal territories all over the world flying our flag, and our naval supremacy over the English Channel won in 1805 at a rather more significant battle secured all that for us to the present day

  51. @funkmasterjee not everything requires a full intact runway, a lot of stuff can be delivered by parachute or helicopter, including special forces teams, and we have missiles, aircraft and artillery of our own to cover such an operation
