  18. @Philip5478  this is true but I'd argue the Germans were never truly gonna be able to successfully invade the UK either after Dunkirk, they had neither the naval strength nor the air-power, Germany were a LAND power, so the whole "America saved our asses" thing was in my opinion a load of complete and utter horsesh*t, being an island does indeed have it's perks but more importantly being an island with the strongest navy in Europe and, at that time the strongest in the WORLD has a hell of a lot MORE perks
