  2. Aotearoa, New Zealand and Aotearoa New Zealand are all official names for my country. Kia Ora (Be well) is our official greeting. Our anthem is sung in Māori and English. NZ currency has Māori and Pākehā shown on the notes. Even once apartheid South Africa, has now been ruled by dark brown for 39 years and has an anthem containing several local languages. The US has No official indigenous greeting, The Land of the Brave on Reservations and not shown on currency. Why does America refuse to grow up?

  3.  @k333rl  11700 BC was the end of the last ice age NOT 1492 AD. Stupid arrived from Germany with his grandfather and father. You could call that 3 generations even though they all arrived at the same time. Deb Haaland is 35th generation so her family also arrived way after the ice age but 32 generations longer is indigenous. I'm 24th generation Māori New Zealander and my family have been here since the late 700AD.
