  1. In Aotearoa/New Zealand we call pink/white people Pākehā. Pā = congregation kehā = foul smelling/maggot. Though it sounds derogatory it really isn't. Māori like the Dutch are "matter of fact". Maggots are pinkish white and are always found in large groups. The foul smelling part comes from colonial Europe's aversion to bathing and ties in with where maggots are usually found.
