  1. Scotland doesn't even meet the constitutional requirements to even call itself a separate country. We used to have the old kingdoms like 'Northumberland' East anglia wessex etc. Scotland is a county in England The Queen is its head of state. They use the English pound as their currency. Etc etc. Only 5 million people live in Scotland compared to 10 million who live in London. They are running a defecit and get bailed out by the English. They would be bankrupt just like they were in the 18th century, hence the reason they signed the 'act of union' because they owed the English so much money
