  4.  @Kiwi2703  I fear it will, done by the private sector (probably big tech firms who collaborate all the data on you) so that anyone who protests will swiftly be dismissed with the line "they're a private company, they can do whatever they like".

  5. If this Chinese social experiment is deemed a success, expect private companies in the west to follow suit to deal with anti-social behaviour, trolling, hate speech and criminality. Pretty much will be a case of when, not if.
