"An extraordinary decision...that we are not comfortable with" X to doubt.

A fellow YouTube content creator, Alexander from DatePsychology did a survey of respondents and published the results a few days ago of dating deal-breakers. The top deal-breaker for men? A woman whose biography mentions OnlyFans - 89% of men have an issue with that life choice with nearly 70% outright rejecting someone on that basis.

I'd warn anyone who believes that YouTube Premium will remain ad-free. History shows that subscription services that started ad-free did not remain that way over time - for example, satellite and cable services. We're now seeing that repeated with streaming services.

Dr Peterson should take a step back and look at who wants to abolish anonymity and then discover why. That's the best argument for anonymity.

Stern: F**k their freedom. Biden: I agree. Now watch this executive order...

If you get rid of every outlet and leave men outside of relationships with zero outlet for their urges and desires, legions of frustrated men with nothing to lose will not end well for society.
112
The fact that US media is now getting involved with the cancellation of Brand just prior to the passing of the Online Safety Bill means they will push for this in the USA.

Same thing happens if they are male regarding their martial status. If they're "single", it's left up and if it's "in a relationship", its gone.
64
Allowing the state to shut down one service which sets the precedent to allow them to have wide reaching powers and grotesque over-reach? I'm shocked (not shocked)!
49
Considering how I get shadowbanned and comments deleted regularly, I'm not going to hold my breath about being invited.

Man: "Women are meat" Reaction: "Sexist! Misogynistic! Women are human beings with feelings, emotions and thoughts! How dare you!" Woman: "Men are human ATM's". Reaction: (sound of crickets)
41
YouTube quietly acknowledge what we all knew. Nice to be vindicated.
38
[6 second unskippable ad] Just what [6 second unskippable ad] [6 second unskippable ad] YouTube needs, [30 second unskippable ad] more ads. [6 second unskippable ad]

He is in possession of a penis. That is how he was found guilty. Look up the situation where women get preferential treatment in the UK courts. It annoys Men's Rights Activists and egalitarians alike.
36
In March, every website accessible in the UK will be required to implement real time facial recognition informed by Government photo ID to identify any website user at any time.
36
Over six years on and we still live rent free in their heads.
35
I can't wait for the inevitable "where have all the good men gone" article from this woman.
25
I said this would happen a while ago. It was inevitable sadly. The problem is that adverisements are so common that this will only be a stepping stone to YouTube's ultimate goal - to paywall the website.
25
If you watch via TV, it also puts a large banner on the screen nudging you to get Premium. Which is the end goal for YouTube.
24
They will outlaw VPN's as well. The UK came close to doing it with the Online Safety Bill but a Labour amendment failed to materialise. However, it is looking very likely they will be in power next year and they will propose to ban it.
24
And its happening very, very quickly. Now the Home Secretary is aiming for Meta tonight to demand they abolish encryption and privacy.
23
Three words: "Trust but verify".
23
How would they be able to increase bandwidth and storage usage without incurring massive costs? YouTube doesn't make a profit and Google can keep it going because of its massive stacks of cash. Odysee and Bitchute don't have that privilege unless they paywall content and that won't be cheap. This is the problem, those who can make it work and have the cash wish to censor and those who will struggle because of a lack of cash wish to maintain free speech.
22
UK citizens may soon not have an option but to leave the country if they want to use Rumble. It is looking likely that after their letter telling the MP who is the Chair of the Select Committee for Culture, Media and Sport to get lost, that Ofcom will be told to ban the site and compel all ISPs and VPNs operating in the country by law. As a side note, the same MP declared that one of their donors is Google, direct competitor to Rumble.
19
I think the vast majority of men who live that lifestyle just call it bachelorhood.
19
@nekotranslates Not introduced for any website yet. It'll be a legal requirement in March unless things get pushed back or dropped.
19
Worse still, laws are forthcoming to deal with unwanted and unrequited attention, Scotland first. Being rejected could soon land you a prison sentence. No joke.
17
The Home Secretary has just taken aim at Meta from news reports tonight - not regarding Russell Brand, but for adopting and plans to expand encryption and privacy, on the rationale of "keeping children safe".
17
The juice is not worth the squeeze.
16
Corporations hate it too. The idea of a freely available repository of media, knowledge and information that is not within their control and paywalled deeply offends them.
15
And do not let other men define you by your ability to attract a partner or your characteristics as Jeremy appears to be doing.
15
And they like to paint good faith critics of such laws as risking children's safety in a disgraceful attempt to smear critics.
14
Can't find a partner because you're invisible to women in the dating market and you can't afford to get on the housing ladder and start a family because you need two incomes. And they wonder why the fertility rate is dropping?
14
And by reacting like this, she fed the trolls and will now create a Streisand Effect where more people will view and spread her pictures, creating a cascading effect until it naturally receedes. This is a text-book example of how NOT to react to your OnlyFools pictures being leaked.
14
My comments on many videos (not all) get shadowbanned. Shadowbanning is nothing new on this platform.
14
The two genders - mail and email. (I think you knew when you made that typo that this would be the response)
13
People wouldn't mind so much if the advertising was in natural breaks with some time between them. But they're not, they're cramming in ads, making more of the longer ones unskippable and even interrupting the flow of what someone is saying mid-sentence with ads. They've not just gone to war with the ad-blockers, they're going to war with those who don't use Premium.
13
YouTube also puts a timed pop-up now on TV if you don't subscribe to Premium and don't block ads. They want everyone on Premium.
13
She didn't denigrate or speak down to her male audience who do feel lonely by calling them cowards as I have seen from a few commentators and evolutionary psychologists. Nor did she deny the male loneliness epidemic as being a thing. I was sickened to hear what I heard on those videos from feminists about lonely men, I did not expect to hear the same vitriol from people I respect.
11
As Baroness Fox warned in the House of Lords, when PayPal set the precedent, others will follow.
11
They're planning to expand the paywall considerably to make using it free so frustrating and annoying you'll either pay or leave. Experiments are underway for a number of options they could implement.
11
Every provider is doing it. Then they will remove the ad-free tiers. Now you're paying to access and watching advertisements. Double dip. It's the same model satellite and cable channels have done for decades.
10
YouTube is pushing Premium so hard when casting to TV so they can no longer rely on ads and paywall the platform.
10
We haven't even got to the forthcoming misogyny laws (starting in Scotland, the advocate for that just resigned today but that technicality isn't going to stop it) or enforcement of requirements for dating apps to vet their users for women's online safety yet.
9
Same with me. Oddly enough, they are showing in a private window on this video but on many of them, they won't show to anyone else. They don't like dissenters and those who state uncomfortable truths.
9
It's not for viewers either unless you pay. Ultimately YouTube's future direction will be to turn all free viewers into paid ones and paywall the site.
9
In the UK, we have a police chief who publicly went on record wanting people to be shamed for not wearing a mask. Mask wearing has become cult like and ideological. Advocates behave like a religious follower, criticism and opposition to mask wearing is censored on mainstream and social media and "the science" is anything that fits our agenda where we always have an answer for any findings that will fit said agenda.
8
We do need to find a viable solution for male loneliness, lack of confidence and self-doubt which is feeding this false hope because the alternative of finding a partner through online dating (or real life, particularly with restrictions on freedoms bar a few places) is not viable for the majority of men.
8
If Jeremy had read up on what Alexander has been saying, he'd know that. Worse still for anyone in their middle ages, things deteriorate quickly and Alex warned of that too. But just like long term single people posing at relationship coaches online who are out of their depth, Jeremy has exposed himself regarding modern day bachelorhood.
8
I get exactly the same treatment with my own comments but much less so with replies for some reason. I'm primarily, if not completely, shadowbanned.
