Don’t scapegoat in the drought the consecuences of the conflict between kulaks and soviets and the subsequent repression. Im no expert, but as lobg as i know gulags were used as prisons for disidents, and no 60 million, but a 3 % if soviet population passed by them. Thats as much as the gringo imprisoned population, and only for dissidence, for usual crime there were other prisons. Then thanks Beria.
