In Earth: One accident>one worker dies >you hire other>no problem In space: One accident>An entire section or even the whole base dies. Each worker takes 1 billion dollars to arrive to Mars, they are irrepleaceable, without count the lose of prestige and inversions. Space isnt just a new continent, is a completely diferent place with diferent circumstances. Human rights are lost under martial law. The captain of a ship is like a general, life in space will be a mix between jail, monastery, army and plane. Whoever wants liberty must avoid space, where there are so many limitations.
