Who says not? Roman empire too lived wars between the east and west, an too civil wars. Probably this timeline would have too its own set of civil wars in the time. In fact I see unlikely this big alexadnrian empire lasting a thousand years. It would have probably already fallen be4.

Lohengram has reason, I see more likely that Chanakya makes a revolt after Alex goes and then puts Chandragupta. When Alex would return, I dont know wich would win, in Chandragupta and Chanakya Alx could finally find a match.

@Koke-f1g Meh, that was a theoretical frontier accorded with Seleucus. I doubt MAuryas would care to control lands beyond Hindu Kush.

@Koke-f1g According to you that lots of coutnire in the world use $ means that they are aprt of USA? That simply shos that Maurya was of course the strongest economy so their currency was the most common intheir neighbour.

@Koke-f1g Persian empires was the starting of globallization, thanks to him ideas, merchancies and people flowed. Just see the Odd Compass video of the relations between romans, greeks and indians. People of the 3 ntionalaities existed in the 3 lands without need of greeks or romans conquering India or viceversa, too says clearly there were roman settlers and many roman coinss in dravidians coasts.

@Koke-f1g Roman coins in india werent just a small bunch, there were lots and lots. India was basically eating the coin production of Rome, in the apogeum of the trade India gained 100 million sextertii a year, basically Rome fell because India defeated it in a comercial war without even having the intention. So Im sure that there were far more roman coins in India than indian coins in Afganistan. What do you expect to find in the land node to the W of the Mauryas? Flooded of indian cins of course, as India was flooded with roman coins due to commerce. Not, the central aian states not, just Afganistan during the mauryans

The ones who spanked the mongols were the turks who ruled the sultanate of Delhi, not the indians. Those didnt stood a chance.
