Burglarizing a house dressed all in black with a black beanie and no mask đ These women are right out of a cartoon!

The State needs to account for every hour billed by Centerpoint.

All the cops need is probable cause to believe there is trespassing going on to arrest the squatters. Thatâs it. Iâm pro police, but law enforcement managers (the chief and sheriff are not leaders) are using plausible deniability to get out of doing their job. If cops reasonably believe a lease is fake, then they can make arrests. They can look up ownership records online and ask the lawful owner questions.

My neighborhood in 77015 doesnât have power, but Centerpointâs interactive map doesnât represent us for a power recovery date. Their representative told me to call back. I told him to check his map, and he confirmed they knew our power was out and confirmed their map was inaccurate. He didnât want to have a supervisor call me back. Meanwhile the mayor keeps bragging about their numbers.

@@MoneyVisions93 Youâre thinking about evictions, which are civil matters. Trespassing is criminal, which all law enforcement officers that have jurisdiction in the area can enforce, including deputy constables, deputy sheriffs, police officers, and state troopers. The police and district attorneys make all kinds of excuses to weasel out of doing their job.

Trees add value to a property, especially pecan trees because they make something to eat. Of course the people are the main story, but a pecan tree can mean a lot to a poor person.

As a former law enforcement and detention officer, I respectfully disagree. We donât know for certain, but the inmate seems to be trying to build a reputation. It wonât help overall. The inmate will be in administrative segregation for a very long time.

@Thegreatwhitehopee I blame Centerpoint management, not workers.

Maybe businesses can turn off some of their signs.

If he was on drugs, then broadcasting it doesn't change anything because it would have come out in court. It's hard to believe that Quannel X is making all that up, and it's hard to believe HPD screwed this investigation up this bad for this many years. I understand HPD made contact with the victim multiple times over eight years and failed to make sure they identified him.

They're calling it "makeshift" and "pop up" because they want us to believe these murders were unforeseeable. The city knew or should have known what was going on.
