I was born a few years before Roe v. Wade and put up for adoption. I don’t know if I would be here if abortion had been readily available, but I am grateful to the woman who carried me for nine months and went through labor for me and grateful to the woman who raised me. Happy Mothers Day moms ❤️

I want accountability for the pandemic. How it began is important to know to prevent another one, but the world deserves to hold responsible the ones that caused this.

If student loans are forgiven, then give veterans cash for all the education benefits they risked their lives to earn.
67
Give $10,000 to every veteran who put off their education and earned education benefits through hard work and sacrifice, or give it to the veterans’ survivors. Then give $10,000 to every person who made the decision and worked hard to pay their student loans. Then consider forgiving student loans for people wanting their existing loans forgiven. Reward effort and sacrifice.

Make sure you pay back veterans for all education benefits earned in military service. If you’re going to forgive debt for people who didn’t serve, then pay back education benefits veterans earned and used.

It’s not gaslighting for people to disagree with you.

Retired USMC General Smedley Butler warned about the military industrial complex decades before Eisenhower in his book “War is a Racket”.

Thank you to the Hill for bringing attention to another case of veterans unnecessarily exposed to harm. Now Hill, face the unfairness inherent in the current push to forgive non-veteran student loan debt. Veterans served and sacrificed for education benefits and were often forgotten by our own promotion-driven military “leaders”. Pay veterans in proportion to the student loan debt forgiven for non-student loan debtors.

Lucas Kunce had no objection to the way the Biden administration handled the Afghanistan withdrawal. It was right to withdraw. It was wrong for the Biden administration to be sloppy with human lives. Lucas Kunce will say whatever gets him in good graces with the Biden administration. As veterans, we should speak with our own minds.

@EverettBurger Service members accrue military education benefits as a service benefit. I’m a veteran, but I served in law enforcement over twenty years. In my law enforcement career there were opportunities for education benefits, but I used military education benefits. You make a good point: cops deserve to get paid for the education benefits they earned to the same degree student loan debts get forgiven.

@lesaamoore I have self respect. I’m fine without yours.

I'm not the judge of what color lives matter. When veterans went to war, ever since Union Soldiers in the Civil War, we went for everyone. Don't get me started on the military-industrial-congressional complex.

The United States is on the hook for slavery and always will be. That said, a lot of Soldiers gave their lives fighting for the Union Army to end slavery. We should honor them too.

Everyone who earned military education benefits, paid their student loans, or just didn’t go to an expensive left wing education club house ought to get a $10K check.

The United States was fighting the Axis powers in Europe and in the Pacific. The Soviet Union was only focused on the European fight until the United States had Japan on the ropes. I don't mean to downplay the Soviet Union sacrifice in WWII; they had greater total casualties than the other allied nations.

Every four years, the Republicans and Democrats each shove a crook in our face and tell us to choose a President. Their national committees filter the crooks through their processes until the big donors get who they want. In modern history, a few exceptions make it to President, like maybe President Obama, but he is an exception. The same thing plays out with varying degrees of corruption in other elections across our nation. Voting is and will continue to be an illusion of choice until rank choice voting is the law and more parties break the Republican/Democrat monopoly.

Veterans served and risked their lives for education benefits. Non-veteran student loan debtors want student loan money for free. The government needs to pay veterans in proportion to non-veteran student loan forgiveness.
