  1. Every four years, the Republicans and Democrats each shove a crook in our face and tell us to choose a President. Their national committees filter the crooks through their processes until the big donors get who they want. In modern history, a few exceptions make it to President, like maybe President Obama, but he is an exception. The same thing plays out with varying degrees of corruption in other elections across our nation. Voting is and will continue to be an illusion of choice until rank choice voting is the law and more parties break the Republican/Democrat monopoly.
